The term monthly transfer refers to the amount of data served from a web site. A typical website with pictures and some video will use approximately 100MB per 200 visitors to the web site. Overages are billed monthly at $1.00 per gigabyte over.

Web Space
The term web space refers to the amount of storage you are allotted for your website's public, private, and log files, databases, and emails. It would include pictures, pdf files, videos and more. If you have 2,000 reduced size (600x400) pictures it would use about 100MB of storage space. Overages are billed monthly at $0.01 per megabyte over.
